Il est presque minuit. J’ai bien envie de me faire un tournoi, mais c’est pas franchement raisonnable. A moins que... Party poker, dans son lobby de MTT, propose un "Speed Tournament", à 5$+1$ le buy in. Je me renseigne un peu, et comprend ce qui rend le tournoi "speed". 15sec pour réfléchir au lieu de 20, ça, ça change pas la vie. Ya pas mal de site où les tournoi normaux utilisent ce délai. Non, là où c’est vraiment ultra speed, c’est le fait que les blindes augmentent toutes les trois minutes...
Apparement, la formule est populaire, puisque je suis l’un des 2606 participants. Dans la pratique, j’ai vraiment l’impression de faire parti d’une sorte de tirage au sort géant. Les joueurs relancent 10 fois trop haut, sont suivis systèmatiquement par un ou deux joueurs, et voir des all-ins collectifs à 4 joueurs est plutôt classique. Moi je folde, je folde, faute de mains "correctes", et surtout faute d’occasion de limper avec des mains moyennes, à cause des relances de jobards qu’il y a à chaque mains. C’est marrant ça, la dernière fois que j’ai payé la BB, c’était 15 jetons. Là, 50... Euhm.
La fenêtre d’évolution de l’élimination des joueurs est sidérante. La liste des sacrifiés est allongée de 30 noms en moins de 20 secondes. Rapidement les blindes atteignent un niveau critique : 75/150, soit un pot initial de 225. Selon D. En fait, ce type de tournoi, même s’il est préférable de savoir un minimum jouer au poker, propose en parmanence des blindes tellement hautes qu’au bout de 30min, l’intégralité des mains sont all ins préflop. Est ce que le poker en sort grandi ? pas sûr...
